I’ve been a photographer for over 10 years, but it was motherhood that brought me back to the heart of it. After stepping away from the camera for five years, becoming a mama to our sweet baby boy (and dog-mama to Leia, our golden retriever) gave me a fresh perspective and a full heart.
I’m here to capture those honest, beautiful, fleeting moments for other families, whether you’re expecting your first little one, chasing toddlers, or simply want to freeze time for a moment.

My photography journey
2014-2016
Graduated with a degree in Visual Communication Design, double majoring in communication design and photography. A time of learning, where I assisting many talented photographers from all different genres.
2016-2020
Bronwyn Alyson Photography was born! From fashion to interiors and architecture, published work and finally, focusing on weddings. My amazing clients gave me the opportunities to travel all over South Africa and the world.
2020-2023
The big move from South Africa to Amsterdam, and from Amsterdam to Culemborg. I pressed pause on photography and started working as a front-end developer.
2023
The year our little boy was born! And also the year Leia, our Golden Retriever, turned one.
2025
Another big move - a step back from development, a step back into photography. I started Bronwyn Alyson Photography in The Netherlands, returning with a full heart.
